In this photograph, “Connection,” I am reflecting upon connection, unity, oneness, or whichever word (symbol) you would like to use for it. In the image, one vine encompasses the other. But, that is only true from one precise location or point of view; step to the right or left only a couple of inches, and then unity goes unseen.
So, for me, this image is about unity, but it is more about how crucial it is to seek and maintain a desire for union; it is there, just not always seen. Nature is always an excellent place to practice this. By definition, it follows the rules unspoiled by human intervention.
