Surrender To Win

It is ironic indeed that the powerlessness of step one: “We admitted we were powerless over -x- and that our lives had become unmanageable” would yield freedom.

When I began, this step seemed an anti-truth to me. But as with all things twelve-step, only the slightest willingness to try was enough, and by then, my only choice. Once begun, my experience would validate this truth. Time would prove Power is given as false power is surrendered. To date, this has never failed.
